Crayon had earlier shared a series of posts on in which he accused Don Jazzy of undermining his career and made further claims linking the record label to personal tragedies. He also expressed frustration and threatened to take action against the label.
In response, Samklef mocked the situation and suggested that the controversy may be connected to Don Jazzy’s recent public association with social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM).
He claimed that since Don Jazzy began interacting with VDM, artists under Mavin Records have struggled to maintain strong momentum in their careers. Samklef also questioned whether the developments could be interpreted as karma, referencing comments about the appearance of Ayra Starr in a recent video.
In his post, Samklef expressed his views in strong terms, suggesting that something might be amiss within the label and implying that artists often experience changes in success after leaving the record company.
