During a gathering with local government vice chairmen from the Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen (ALGOVC), Kano State chapter, at the National Assembly, Senator Barau emphasized that through unity and prayers, the APC can anticipate a favorable outcome from the tribunal proceedings….CONTINUE READIN

 

A statement released by Ismail Mudashir, the special adviser for Media & Publicity, quoted the Deputy Senate President as asserting that the APC is challenging the victory of Abba Yusuf of the NNPP in the Kano State governorship election held on March 18 at the Election Petition Tribunal.

“We hold onto our prayers and remain hopeful for a positive tribunal outcome. Our destiny rests in the hands of God. It is imperative that we stand united and collaborate harmoniously. By the grace of God, our resurgence in Kano State is only a matter of time,” he remarked.

Acknowledging the visit of the local government vice chairmen, Senator Barau commended their gesture and expressed his commitment to partnering with them to enhance the well-being of the grassroots population.

“The significance of local governance cannot be overstated. Together with you, we will confront the challenges our people face. Your visit is greatly appreciated. Our collaboration will persist,” he affirmed.

Leading the delegation, Alhaji Yakubu Musa Naira, the chairman of the association, conveyed their purpose for visiting the National Assembly – congratulating Senator Barau on his election as the Deputy President of the Senate.
