In a press release titled “On Governor Bala Mohammed’s Latest Tirade and Truculent Buffoonery,” Dogara condemned the Governor for his sudden shift in stance against Tinubu. He accused Mohammed of initially praising Tinubu while seeking his assistance to resolve legal issues after allegedly manipulating his election. Despite this support, Dogara noted, Mohammed has since criticized Tinubu as “inept, incompetent, and incapable of leading Nigeria.”
Dogara acknowledged the current challenges facing Nigeria but labeled Mohammed’s comments as inappropriate and unhelpful. He reminded that when Mohammed needed support, he publicly lauded Tinubu, only to disparage him shortly after receiving aid. Dogara criticized Mohammed’s approach as irresponsible and indicative of his disregard for political decorum.
He concluded by disassociating himself and his party from Mohammed’s conduct, emphasizing that while Mohammed is part of their political sphere, his actions do not reflect their values or commitment to national unity and stability.
