President Bola Tinubu suspended Edu on January 8, accusing her of depositing humanitarian funds into a private account designated for grants to vulnerable groups in Akwa Ibom, Lagos, Cross River, and Ogun states.
Edu’s suspension marks the first of its kind since the swearing-in of the Federal Executive Council members in August last year.
