Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has faulted social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, over allegations connecting House of Representatives Minority Leader Kingsley Chinda to an alleged land grabbing incident in Abuja.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Chinda, who recently emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Rivers State ahead of the 2027 elections, was mentioned in a video shared by VeryDarkMan on his Facebook page on Friday.

In the video, the activist referenced an earlier clip posted on December 11, 2024, in which he accused FCT Minister Nyesom Wike of revoking an estate in the Life Camp area of Abuja and reallocating it to his associates. He further alleged that Chinda had a significant interest in the disputed property.

VeryDarkMan also reacted to Chinda’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate, questioning the development and describing Rivers State as “finished.”

Responding, Olayinka dismissed the claims in a Facebook post, describing the commentator as a “very dull man” and accusing him of spreading falsehoods regarding the land dispute.

He alleged that the claims were promoted after financial inducement from an interested party, and maintained that the allegations collapsed once official facts showed that the land in question was never allocated to the individual making the complaint.

Olayinka further stated that both VeryDarkMan and his source allegedly went silent after the clarification was provided, adding that instead of issuing an apology for misleading the public, the activist moved on to other topics without addressing the issue.
