During an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on her YouTube show, she admitted that she is not perfect and acknowledged that she can sometimes be difficult to deal with.
The actress reflected on advice from her late mother, who cautioned her against expecting others to match her level of speed, intelligence, and enthusiasm, urging her to be more patient with people.
Funke also shared how her colleague, Uzee Usman, helped shift her perspective on relationships by encouraging her to accept people as they are.
She noted that human relationships are very important to her and that she continues to learn and grow in that area, while emphasising that her mental health remains a top priority.
In her words, she explained that she loves deeply and is open and genuine, but also recognises the need for balance in how she relates with others.
She added that although she strives to understand people better, she will always prioritise her well-being in any relationship.
