According to Naija News, Shaibu’s remarks came in reaction to Keyamo’s recent comments regarding the opposition coalition’s growing strength, particularly his suggestion that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) should offer its 2027 presidential ticket to Obi.

Shaibu said Keyamo’s statements reveal the anxiety within the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the rising influence of the newly formed coalition, which he described as a formidable and unstoppable force.

Posting on X, Shaibu wrote:

“@fkeyamo, in your panic-driven desperation, gripped by the specter of a surging opposition, you’ve recast yourself as @PeterObi’s campaign mouthpiece and uninvited political adviser.

“Ironically, your attempt to sow division only exposes your fear. But know this—Peter Obi is far too discerning to be swayed by your childish tactics.”

He concluded with a warning:

“This time, the opposition will not be divided. This time, our resolve is strong and unified. Your defeat is imminent. Accept our sympathies in advance—what’s coming will be truly historic.”
