Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Doris expressed deep regret over her past association with Tonto and urged the public not to link her in any way with the controversial star. She emphasized that their relationship was never as close as it appeared online.
“Please, I beg you all in God’s name, do not associate me with Tonto. We are not friends as many assumed from social media. We rarely meet—only when I visit Abuja. We are completely different people.”
Doris went further, saying:
“I completely disassociate myself from her. I will even provide proof to explain the kind of so-called friendship we had. I don’t want to be linked with someone so shameless and revolting.”
She continued,
“I may be stubborn, but I have integrity. Tonto, you are the most heartless person I’ve ever known. I deeply regret ever being connected with you. I’ll go live soon to set the record straight and clear the air on everything.”
