His leadership energized every campaign rally, grassroots meeting, and strategy session, ensuring no detail was overlooked in the race to victory. However, his influence extended far beyond his home in Owan East, reaching communities like Isiuwa Ward in Ovia North East, where he rallied widespread support. His strategic efforts transformed these areas into APC strongholds, contributing to decisive victories across multiple wards.

Crucially, Dr. Umakhihe also served as the Director of Finance for the APC Gubernatorial Campaign Council, a vital role that ensured the financial stability of the campaign.
