According to the update, petrol will now sell between ₦925 and ₦955 per litre nationwide—an increase from the previous range of ₦825 to ₦895.
The revised prices mean motorists in Lagos, the South-West, North-Central, North-West, North-East, and South-East will now pay ₦925, ₦935, ₦955, ₦945, and ₦955 per litre, respectively.
Specifically, in Lagos and Abuja, MRS fuel stations will now dispense petrol at ₦925 and ₦945 per litre, up from ₦875 and ₦895.
Meanwhile, NNPCL retail outlets have maintained their pump prices at ₦875 and ₦895 in Lagos and Abuja as of Saturday evening.
The price adjustment by MRS and other marketers follows a sharp rise in global crude oil prices, attributed largely to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
