In his congratulatory message on Sunday, Governor Abiodun praised Tinubu’s leadership qualities, noting that his re-election by fellow ECOWAS leaders underscores their confidence in his capabilities. He highlighted Tinubu’s proactive measures in handling military coups in member states, which prevented potential crises and upheld regional stability.

“Under Tinubu’s stewardship, ECOWAS has significantly advanced economic integration, promoted peace and security, and fostered cooperation among member-states,” Abiodun remarked. He emphasized Tinubu’s strategic leadership in addressing regional challenges, including threats to democracy in Mali, Niger, and Burkina Faso, through diplomatic dialogue.

Abiodun urged all ECOWAS member-states to collaborate with President Tinubu in furthering the organization’s goals and values, expressing confidence that his continued leadership will accelerate progress in the region.
