Primate Ayodele stressed that such imposition could lead to failure and mark the end of Obaseki’s political career.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the prophet urged Obaseki to embrace democracy in the selection process to avoid adverse consequences.

The statement emphasized that if Obaseki insists on imposing a candidate based on personal interests, it would result in the PDP losing gallantly and facing potential oblivion in the state.

Primate Ayodele warned that votes might be swayed to the All Progressives Congress (APC) if Obaseki does not allow a democratic process in selecting the party’s candidate.
