EFCC Raids NAHCON Headquarters, Arrests Spokesperson And Three Top Officials

On Tuesday, operatives from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) carried out a raid on the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) headquarters in Abuja over fraud allegations.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Arriving at 11 a.m. in a white bus with an arrest warrant, the operatives took NAHCON’s spokesperson, Fatimah Usara, along with three other unidentified staff members into custody.

According to sources close to The Guardian, the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of fund misappropriation.

This raid follows a previous operation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), which also searched NAHCON’s offices regarding the alleged mismanagement of the N90 billion intervention fund allocated for the 2024 Hajj.

EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the operation but stated that additional details would be provided later.
