Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji Takes Center Stage At African Sub-Sovereign Conference In Cairo

The governor will depart for the North African country to attend the conference, which is organized by Afreximbank and the United Cities and Local Governments of Africa (UCLG Africa).
Themed “Accelerating AfCFTA Implementation: Unlocking Trade and Investment Opportunities for African Sub-Sovereign Governments,” the conference aims to foster collaboration and enhance trade, development, and investment initiatives within the framework of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
This event holds particular significance for Ekiti State, given its recent attainment of a free trade zone status for its Knowledge Zone.
The information was conveyed in a statement signed by the governor’s special adviser on media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, and released to the press in Ado Ekiti.
