Ekiti State Government Approves N136 Million In Car Loans For Civil Servants

Akin Oyebode, the Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, confirmed that Governor Biodun Oyebanji authorized the allocation of N200 million to the loan program.
Oyebode also revealed that the governor sanctioned the settlement of outstanding deductions from salaries to cooperative societies and the Federal Mortgage Bank, totaling N174,394,176.88.
The loan disbursement will be based on grade levels, with amounts varying from N80,000 to N1.5 million. Specifically, 22 employees on grade levels 2 to 6 will receive N80,000 each, 180 beneficiaries on grade levels 7 to 10 will be granted N250,000 each, 150 workers on grade levels 12 to 14 will receive N500,000 each, 13 individuals on grade levels 15 to 17 will be given N750,000 each, and three recipients on consolidated salary will be awarded N1.5 million each.
It’s worth noting that in December 2022, the government disbursed a total of N130.7 million in car loans.
