In a statement on Monday, Gaban confirmed El-Rufai’s switch from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the SDP, calling it a historic moment that strengthens the party and encourages well-meaning Nigerians to align with its vision.
He highlighted El-Rufai’s track record of bold reforms, governance excellence, and national impact, emphasizing that the SDP remains committed to prioritizing the people and strengthening democracy in Nigeria.
