In a formal letter presented during a plenary session by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the proposal raised concerns and tension across the West African sub-region, drawing international attention to the situation in the neighboring country.

Charly Boy voiced his opinion on the matter, cautioning against the potential consequences of taking military action against the embattled nation.

He urged the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to plunge into a situation that could be difficult to resolve.

Through his Twitter account, Charly Boy wrote, “The impending military intervention in the Republic of Niger is causing tension across the West Africa sub-region.

This situation is drawing significant attention in our neighboring country.”

He continued, “Engaging in a war with people who are uniting for economic freedom and to reduce western influence could have serious ramifications. Starting a war is easy, but ending it is a daunting task.

The APC is on the verge of leading us into a war. Considering the substantial problems we already face, let’s avoid starting something that will be hard to finish.”
