City is once again considered strong contenders to secure the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup titles this season.

Guardiola’s side will climb to the top of the Premier League standings if they secure a victory against Everton on Saturday.

They also have upcoming fixtures in the Champions League round of 16 and the FA Cup fifth round later this month.

However, Guardiola has downplayed City’s chances of achieving back-to-back trebles, emphasizing the complexity of such an accomplishment.

“This is a fairytale; it’s more complicated than that. Try to beat Everton, and we will see what happens. We have a 99.99% chance that we are not going to win the treble because never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever has [anyone] done it.

“If it was easy, another team — Manchester United at that time — would do it again. It’s not easy,” Guardiola told reporters.
