Currently, Edo State hosts two operational industrial parks and is planning further expansions to meet the increasing interest from investors in Edo Central and Edo North.

Additionally, Uwaibi noted ongoing efforts to establish a mechanic village in Auchi, reflecting the local government’s commitment to attracting investments. He highlighted the state’s proactive approach in fostering business growth, evidenced by successful partnerships such as the €3 million investment in the agricultural sector, following a Memorandum of Understanding signed two years ago.

The Esan Enterprise Park will be predominantly driven by private sector initiatives. Uwaibi encouraged private sector individuals from Edo State to submit their profiles to invest@edostate.gov.ng for consideration on the advisory board. This initiative aims to leverage local expertise and resources to ensure the park’s success.
