Esan Youths Call On Odi Okojie to Step Up as Senate Declares Okpebholo’s Seat Vacant

In a historic moment at the National Assembly, the Senate today held a valedictory session for Senator Monday Okpebholo, who has vacated his seat in the Edo Central Senatorial District to assume office as the Governor of Edo State. Following this development, the Esan Youth Coalition Vanguard (EYCV) has called on Honorable Odi Okojie, the current representative of Esan North East and Esan South East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, to “step up” and fill the vacancy left behind by Senator Okpebholo.

In a letter addressed to Hon. Okojie, the coalition, represented by Comrade Ehi Eromosele, praised his outstanding leadership qualities, unwavering dedication, and impactful representation. The letter highlighted the need for continuity and expressed the coalition’s confidence in Okojie’s ability to uphold and build on the legacy of Senator Okpebholo.
