Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria (ELFON), a prominent public interest group led by Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel, has voiced its skepticism about the Ministers assessing their own performance. However, independent feedback gathered by ELFON from Nigerians across all 774 local government areas highlights Engr. Momoh as one of the six Ministers who have performed exceptionally well.
Under Momoh’s leadership, the Ministry of Niger Delta has seen significant strides in addressing the region’s challenges. His dedication to improving infrastructure, healthcare, and economic opportunities has not gone unnoticed. By actively engaging with local communities and stakeholders, Momoh has effectively changed the narratives of the Niger Delta, making substantial progress despite the ongoing economic challenges.
“Given the economic crisis plaguing the country, 35 percent of the Ministers have performed fairly, while six have done exceptionally well by Nigeriansā assessment,” stated Godstime during a press briefing at the ELFON secretariat in Abuja. He emphasized that these standout performances are particularly commendable under the current economic constraints.
As Nigerians reflect on the first year of President Tinubu’s administration, Engr. Momoh’s achievements in the Niger Delta serve as a testament to what can be accomplished with dedication and proactive leadership. His work not only underscores his commitment to his role but also offers a model for others in the administration to follow.
