Exclusive Video: Bandit’s Flaunts Ransom Wealth Sparks Online 

A viral video circulating on TikTok has sparked concerns as it reportedly shows a terrorist flaunting ransom money obtained from victims. Zagazola Makama, a Lake Chad-based counter-insurgency expert and security analyst, shared the footage on his X handle on Monday.

Makama highlighted that the account owner boasts over 3000 followers, with some of them identified as bandits displaying firearms and donning military or police attire.

Expressing dismay, Makama emphasized the alarming trend of insurgents exploiting TikTok to propagate terror campaigns unchecked. He lamented, “The audacity of a bandit on TikTok flaunting ransom money collected from victims is deeply concerning.”

He further underscored the platform’s failure to impose adequate restrictions, providing a platform for insurgents to advance their agenda of terror unhindered.
