Eze condemned Wike’s public attacks on Atiku, emphasizing that it is inappropriate for Wike to boast about confronting his so-called enemies.

DAILY POST reports that during a recent gathering with his faction of the PDP, Wike criticized Atiku, asserting that Nigerians rejected him in the last elections.

Eze expressed disappointment over Wike’s remarks, describing Atiku as a unifying figure and a distinguished politician. “I was taken aback by Wike’s assertion at an event for his departing lawmakers, stating that Nigerians rejected Atiku. Such a comment from someone who has benefited from the PDP platform is an affront to Atiku, a prominent mobilizer, democrat, philanthropist, and inclusive politician,” Eze stated.

He pointed out that Wike may have overlooked a key political principle: there are no permanent enemies, only permanent interests. Eze concluded by reminding Wike that the PDP, which he seems intent on dismantling, was created by Atiku Abubakar.
