Family Accused Of Withholding Deceased Sound Engineer’s Body Despite Public Donations....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Movie Producer Stanley Ontop alleges that despite receiving financial aid from Nigerians for the exhumation and transportation of the late sound engineer Precious’ body to Rivers state for a proper burial, his family has refused to comply. Precious tragically lost his life in a boat accident alongside actor Jr Pope and three others.

Following the recovery of Precious’ body from the river days after the mishap, villagers insisted on burying him at the riverbank, citing traditional rituals associated with drowning victims. Despite efforts to secure his body for relocation, the family has reportedly resisted, citing cultural reasons.

Recently, a video surfaced showing Precious’ mother appealing to the Rivers state government to assist in bringing her son’s remains home for a dignified burial, similar to the effort made for another victim, makeup artist Frederick Abigails.

Stanley expressed disappointment in a new video, revealing that despite financial support totaling approximately N11.2 million from concerned Nigerians, the family has failed to follow through with their commitment to exhume Precious’ body. He recounted efforts to raise funds and support from various sources, including a senior pastor and the Rivers state government, only to be met with reluctance from Precious’ father, who claims adherence to tradition as the reason for not retrieving the body.

The situation highlights the complexities surrounding cultural beliefs and family dynamics in handling the aftermath of tragic events, leaving the fate of Precious’ final resting place uncertain despite community and financial support.
