Gunmen believed to be involved in armed robbery activities have tragically ended the life of Dr. Sarinus Ettor Kabo, who served as an associate professor of Law at Prince Abubakar University Anyigba (formerly known as Kogi State University). The incident occurred on Monday, April 22, 2024, along the Makurdi-Naka Road, situated between Adaka and Kula communities in Benue State.

Specific details surrounding the incident remain unclear as of the time of this report’s filing. However, it has been learned that Dr. Kabo was fatally shot during the unfortunate event. Dr. Kabo, who was currently undertaking a sabbatical leave at Taraba State University Jalingo, had made the decision to return home on Monday, only to meet a tragic end.

His body has been entrusted to the mortuary at the University of Makurdi Teaching Hospital.
