Despite the sorrow surrounding his untimely death, it has come to light that Bichi had plans to marry in December this year, as revealed by his uncle during an interview with Daily Trust.

Bichi, aged 31, had recently been transferred from the FIRS Lagos Office to Abuja. Tragically, just two weeks into his new assignment, he fell victim to unknown assailants while out with a friend to grab a meal.

Speaking anonymously due to security concerns, the uncle described Bichi as a young man of ambition and gentleness. He lamented the loss, highlighting the unpredictable nature of such violence, referencing other recent shootings in Abuja.

Expressing the family’s grief and frustration, the uncle urged authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice. He emphasized the importance of ensuring safety measures to protect citizens from such senseless acts of violence.
