Father Recounts How His 2-Year-Old Son Broke Their Television, Sparks Reactions

A Nigerian man identified as @ekun-II on X, formerly known as Twitter, has recounted an incident involving his two-year-old son after the child broke a television in their home.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the man revealed that he eventually purchased a new television after his son damaged the previous one. He also shared details of another incident that occurred after he became upset with the child over his behaviour during football training.

The father said he questioned his son after noticing that the boy had walked away from his coach during a football training session. He later discovered that the child had simply gone for a walk.

The man admitted that he became angry over the situation and said he slapped his son and threatened to stop him from attending football training. According to his account, however, the incident appeared to have the opposite effect, as the boy subsequently became even more enthusiastic about the sport.

The father explained that his reaction was driven by his frustration with what he considered irresponsible behaviour during the child’s football training.
