Female Pastor Breaks Silence On Marital Intimacy, Urges Women To Seek Sexual Fulfilment
A female pastor has sparked reactions online after urging married women to learn more about intimacy and embrace sexual pleasure within marriage.
The pastor made the remarks in a viral video while discussing marriage, sexual knowledge and the importance of couples understanding each other’s needs.
According to Bush Radio Academy, she argued that sexual pleasure is part of the purpose of intimacy within marriage, stressing that women should not feel ashamed about seeking fulfilment in their marital relationships.
She said women who go through marriage without experiencing sexual fulfilment may be missing an important aspect of intimacy, adding that she believes God created and instituted sex for married couples to enjoy.
The pastor also encouraged women to educate themselves about intimacy rather than assume that marriage or childbirth automatically equips them with adequate knowledge.
Sharing her personal experience, she disclosed that she got married as a virgin and initially had limited knowledge about sex beyond what she had learned from biology.
“I got married as a virgin. The only thing I know about sex is biology. Nothing else,” she said.
According to the cleric, she later realised after having a child that she needed to understand intimacy better because sex in marriage should not be viewed solely as a means of having children.
She explained that her interest in learning more about marital intimacy increased after she encountered educational materials on the subject.
The pastor said she initially resisted the idea because she considered herself morally upright and believed she had no need for such teachings. However, she later changed her perspective and recognised the importance of sexual education within marriage.
She further warned that couples should not neglect each other’s intimate needs, arguing that a lack of attention to such issues could create challenges within a relationship.
The pastor also stated that she believes married couples can explore different approaches to intimacy, maintaining that such matters should be understood within the context of marriage.
Her comments have generated discussions online, with social media users reacting to her views on sexual education, marital intimacy and the role of sexual fulfilment in marriage.
