Justice Akpan Okon Ebong ruled that the allegations in Suit No. CR/985/2024 amounted to a gross abuse of court processes, leading to its dismissal.
The case was initially filed in November 2024 by senior lawyer Femi Falana (SAN), who had received authorization from the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), to prosecute Ekeh and the other defendants. The accused included individuals such as Chris Ozims, Oyebode Folashade, Charles Adigwe, Obilo Onuoha, Agartha Ukoha, Anya Anya, Femi Dosumu, Nnenna Kalu, and three corporate entities—Admas Digital Technologies Limited, Technology Distributions Limited, and Zinox Technologies Limited.
Falana’s fiat permitted him to revive an earlier case, Charge No. CR/827/2013, involving the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Chris Ozims, Zinox Technologies Limited’s legal adviser, among others, based on a petition from Joseph Benjamin, CEO of Citadel Oracle Concept Limited.
