This comprehensive list of nominees includes a host of seasoned politicians and experienced professionals from different sectors. The names on the list are Ahmed Tijjani, Bosun Tijjani, Dr Maryam Shetti, Ishak Salako, Tunji Alausa, Tanko Sununu, Adegboyega Oyetola, Atiku Bagudu, Bello Matawalle, Ibrahim Geidam, Simon Bako Lalong, Lola Adejo, Shuaibu Abubakar, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Sabi Alkali, Ahmed Heineken Lokpobiri, Uba Maigari, and Zephaniah Jissalo.
The inclusion of these individuals as ministerial nominees has stirred reactions within political circles and from the general public.
Festus Keyamo, former minister under President Buhari’s administration and now the presidential spokesman of the ruling party, took to his Twitter handle to express his commendation for the nominees.
