Former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has become the subject of mockery after his name was notably absent from the list of ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu to the Senate in the early hours of Thursday.

Notable figures like popular economist Olawale Edun, former governor Nyesom Wike, Adebayo Adelabu, Ali Pate, and El Rufai made the list, among others, but Festus Keyamo’s absence caught the attention of Nigerians on social media.

While there is a possibility that Keyamo’s name may appear in the supplementary list, as the one unveiled by Senate President Godwill Akpabio is not exhaustive, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain is currently facing mockery for not making it to the first list.
