In a recent interview with Billboard News, he described the encounter as the “most memorable day” of his life.
The singer of “Peru” shared, “Madonna reached out to me via Instagram DM. She mentioned being a fan and expressed her love for the most unexpected song on my debut album. She’s eccentric and amusing. I admire her greatly. Collaborating with Madonna is a career highlight for me; it’s truly an honor to have a song with the Queen of pop.”
He added, “I had the chance to go on a date with Madonna, and I can confidently say it was the most unforgettable day of my life. It was an incredible experience.”
Recalling the collaboration, Madonna featured Fireboy in a remix of her 1998 classic, ‘Frozen’, in 2022. They also collaborated on a music video for the song, filmed in the United States.
