Flashback to when Peter Obi vowed never to leave his first political party, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.

Peter Gregory Obi joined APGA in 2003 to chase his political ambition as governor of his state, Anambra. He became the Governor in 2006 after the Court of appeal found out Chris Ngige rigged the election.

Peter Obi fought his impeachment as Governor in 2007 and was reinstated as Governor. 2010 Obi won another four years.

Obi vowed in the presence of his party members never to leave the party till death do them part.

Obi broke the vow when he joined People Democratic Party (PDP) after leaving office in 2014 and later decamped to Labour Party (LP) in 2022. Peter Obi is one of the major contenders in today election, him and his obidient movement have moved which so much momentum over the month which have placed him as a third force.
