Flavour’s Success Exposed: Davido Reveals How Singer Is Out-Earning Many Artistes

Afrobeats superstar Davido has praised fellow Nigerian singer Flavour for maintaining a strong presence in Nigeria rather than following the growing trend of artistes travelling to the United States in search of tours and other opportunities.

Davido made the remarks while discussing Flavour’s career and business success on the Afropolitan podcast.

According to Davido, Flavour’s decision to continue operating largely from Nigeria demonstrates that artistes can build successful careers and earn substantial income without constantly relocating or travelling abroad.

The singer cited Flavour as an example of why entertainers should not feel compelled to follow industry trends, stressing that every artiste has a different path to success.

Davido noted that many Nigerian artistes are currently travelling across the United States for performances and other opportunities, while Flavour has chosen to maintain a strong base in Nigeria.

He claimed that the strategy has worked financially for Flavour, alleging that the singer earns more money than many artistes currently touring the United States.

Davido also encouraged entertainers to think independently and make career decisions based on what works for them rather than simply copying what has become popular in the industry.

“You don’t always have to follow what everybody else is doing. Flavour is in Nigeria making money than a lot of artistes that are touring in America,” Davido said.
