However, a Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgment, released by the court on Tuesday, reveals apparent contradictions within various pronouncements.

In the CTC, most of the rulings favored Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the appellant, while the All Progressives Congress (APC), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and NNPP served as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respondents, respectively.

In response to this development, Ahmad expressed his thoughts in a post on Wednesday, suggesting that if the NNPP accepts the circulating online copy as accurate, there might be no need to appeal the ruling.

He attributed the confusion in the CTC judgment to a slip, emphasizing that court judgments are susceptible to errors and mistakes.

Ahmad urged Yusuf’s camp to focus on the substance rather than unnecessarily dwelling on correctable slips.

He underscored the importance of filing an appeal within the two-week window following the Court of Appeal judgment to avoid Dr. Nasir Gawuna being promptly sworn in as the executive governor of Kano state.
