In his assessment, Adoke emphasized that despite initial reservations expressed by Saraki regarding his appointment as Minister of Justice under former President Goodluck Jonathan, the two have since established a strong friendship.

Adoke lauded Saraki as an “emerging leader” in the country, recognizing his notable roles as Senate President and former governor of Kwara State.

Adoke further explained that he had experienced similar corruption allegations brought against him during the previous government.
