The veteran comic actor posted a video on Instagram in which he revealed he has been unwell for several weeks and has been hospitalized in an undisclosed medical facility. The video has garnered widespread responses from sympathizers.
Shehu Sani, who formerly represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly, expressed his admiration for Mr. Okafor, describing him as his favorite actor.
“Mr. Ibu is my favorite artist and comedian. He brightens and entertains the homes of millions of Nigerians. We will not let him down for reasons that we can collectively address. We will take the necessary steps and also bring the attention of prominent figures to take action,” Sani stated.
