Minister of Sports Solomon Dalung has alleged government involvement in the escape of Binance Boss Nadeem Anjarwala.
Reports indicate that Anjarwala fled from detention on March 22, purportedly aided by guards who took him to a nearby mosque during Ramadan fasting.
Dalung, in a social media post, suggests that the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, employ tactics similar to Nnamdi Kanu’s extradition from Kenya in July 2022 to capture the absconding Binance executive.
His statement reads: “If FG can abduct Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria to face trial, then Nuhu Ribadu must deploy the same strategy to hunt down escaped Binance boss, Nadeem Anjarwala – Former sports minister, Solomon Dalung, says.”
Dalung’s remarks imply a call for consistency in government actions regarding high-profile cases like Kanu’s and Anjarwala’s.
