During the intrusion, they conducted a thorough search and confiscated some documents, claiming they were seeking N5 billion in cash, ammunition, and specific records.

After vandalizing his primary bedroom, they left the scene. This incident closely follows an attack on the Adamawa residence of PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, suspected to be perpetrated by Boko Haram members.

Senator Jibrin, speaking at a press conference, vehemently denied having such a substantial amount of money and invited authorities to scrutinize his bank accounts for verification.

He disclosed that this was the second time his residence had been targeted by bandits. The matter has been reported to the Inspector General of Police, and the Commissioner of Police FCT is currently conducting an investigation.
