Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has confirmed an attempted attack on his residence in Yola by a suspected member of Boko Haram.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The incident occurred on Sunday night and was reported by former presidential aide Reno Omokri on Twitter.

In a statement from Atiku’s media office, it was disclosed that the suspect, identified as Jubrila Mohammed, was apprehended at the gate of Atiku’s residence and later handed over to the police….CONTINUE READING

The 29-year-old confessed to being a Boko Haram member from Damboa in Borno State and revealed plans to attack organizations associated with Atiku Abubakar and other sensitive locations in Yola.

Atiku’s media office praised the efforts of the police in apprehending the suspect and further disclosed that three additional suspects were arrested in connection with the plot.

All four suspects have been handed over to military authorities.
