A viral video circulating online showed excited female fans crowding around the singer, attempting to take pictures with him during his public appearance.

The incident has also stirred controversy amid ongoing public discussions surrounding Chike’s alleged involvement in the breakdown of media personality Frank Edoho’s marriage to his estranged wife, Sandra.

In a Facebook post, Ossai described the scene as inappropriate, accusing the crowd of glorifying what he termed “home-wrecking” behaviour by celebrating the singer.

He criticised the fans for mobbing Chike and treating him like a celebrity hero despite the allegations linked to his personal life.

According to him, the reactions of the women amounted to the public endorsement of infidelity and a decline in moral values.

He wrote: “CHIKE, the guy who slept with SANDRA (a married woman), showed up at Film House cinema! And instead of disgust or shame, ladies were going crazy, fighting to take pictures with him like he’s some kind of hero. Let’s call this exactly what it is: a disgusting celebration of home wrecking…”

He further argued that such behaviour undermines the value of marriage, claiming it sends the wrong message to young people about relationships, loyalty, and consequences.

Ossai also suggested that celebrating such actions normalises infidelity and weakens societal moral standards.

He added that individuals applauding or defending such situations risk promoting future relationship breakdowns and emotional harm.

Concluding his post, he expressed disappointment over what he described as the declining moral standards in society.
