Fresh Twist As VDM Shares Prayer Video From China Amid Arome Controversy

Controversial Nigerian social media activist Verydarkman has shared a video of himself praying in China, shortly after criticising Apostle Arome over his comments about Nigeria’s role in global development.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Verydarkman, popularly known as VDM, posted the video on social media, where he said he had “exported prayers” to China while expressing optimism about positive developments for Nigeria.

In the video, the activist said, “I have successfully exported prayers to China. Good news is coming our way. Trade by barter. Nigeria, the change is coming.”

The video comes amid an ongoing public exchange between VDM and supporters of Apostle Arome following comments made by the cleric about Nigeria’s role as a nation of revival and the country’s development.

Arome had spoken about Nigeria’s religious significance and questioned the emphasis some Nigerians place on comparing the country with nations making advances in areas such as engine production and other technological innovations.

VDM subsequently criticised the remarks, arguing that Nigeria should place greater emphasis on innovation, creativity and technological advancement alongside religious activities.

His latest video from China appeared to blend his earlier criticism of Nigeria’s technological development with a message centred on prayer and international engagement. His reference to “trade by barter” also appeared to be a light-hearted description of the gesture.

However, VDM did not provide further details about what he meant by “good news” or the specific changes he expected to see in Nigeria.

The video has since attracted attention online, particularly because of its timing following his recent comments about Apostle Arome and Nigeria’s developmen.
