Friendship Over! Sarah Martins Exposes The Real Reason She Dumped Judy Austin

In a recent interview, Sarah clarified that her decision had nothing to do with Judy’s marriage to Yul Edochie. Instead, she said she walked away after realising Judy was emotionally hurting Yul’s first wife, May.
The 31-year-old actress revealed that at the beginning of their friendship, Judy fed her with false narratives about May, which made her offer public support. She only discovered the truth much later.
Sarah noted she wasn’t present when Judy and Yul began their relationship or welcomed their first child, as Judy was still married to her ex-husband, Obasi, at the time.
According to Sarah, she first met Judy in 2022 after reaching out to Yul for an advertisement deal. Yul directed her to Judy, and their friendship grew from there. She frequently visited them in Enugu until the public backlash intensified, with some people wrongly accusing her of introducing Judy to Yul.
Wanting to avoid further controversy, Sarah decided to distance herself.
“I used to be Judy’s friend, but I didn’t stop supporting her because of polygamy. I stopped when I realised she was emotionally bullying another woman—May, Yul’s first wife.
“Initially, Judy told me many lies about May, and I believed her. That’s why my support for her was so loud. But I later found out the truth. I wasn’t around when she and Yul started dating or had their first child; she was still married to Obasi at the time.
“Our friendship began through business. I approached Yul for an advert, and he asked me to work with Judy. We became friends, and I often visited them in Enugu. But when the backlash became intense and people falsely claimed I introduced her to Yul, I had to back off. I didn’t want to be part of that drama anymore.”
