This announcement was made in a statement released by Agnes Ogungbemi, the Command Public Education Officer, on Friday in Osogbo.

According to the statement, Umoh’s deployment to Osun Sector Command comes as a strategic move by the FRSC management to fill the vacancy left by the elevation of Corps Commander Henry Benamaisia. Umoh, an experienced officer, has been chosen to oversee the operations of the FRSC in Osun State.

Corps Commander Inyang Edet Umoh hails from Akwa Ibom State and is happily married with children. He holds an honors degree in Accounting from the University of Uyo and is a member of the National Accountants of Nigeria.

Umoh has been a part of the FRSC since 1996, serving in various capacities and demonstrating excellence in his work. His appointment as the Sector Commander for Osun State reflects his track record of outstanding performance and dedication to duty.

In his new role, Umoh is expected to continue the FRSC’s mission of ensuring road safety and reducing accidents on the highways of Osun State. His appointment underscores the FRSC’s commitment to effective leadership and professionalism in the service.
