Henshaw had criticized Appeal Court Justice Olukayode Bada, accusing him of freeing Olaleye—now remanded in the UK on new charges—and insisting that the judge should “hide his face in shame.”

A netizen identified as “Foundational Nupe Lawyer” responded by accusing the actress of ignorance. He pointed out that rulings at the Court of Appeal are decided by a panel of three justices, not a single judge, making Henshaw’s attack misplaced.

He further stressed that acquittal in Nigeria does not automatically influence an ongoing case in another country, as different jurisdictions, charges, and victims are involved.

Henshaw fired back with a string of insults, refusing to back down from her criticism.
