FUPRE Vice Chancellor Pays Courtesy Visit To Minister Of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh

The Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh FNSE, on Tuesday , June 24, 2025, received the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Professor Ezekiel Agbalagba, on a courtesy visit to his office in Abuja.

During the meeting, Professor Agbalagba provided updates on key infrastructure developments currently underway at the university. He highlighted the ongoing construction of a 2.5-kilometre access road leading to the institution and the installation of solar-powered streetlights across strategic areas within the campus, both of which are expected to significantly improve security, accessibility, and the overall learning environment for students and staff.

In his remarks, the Honourable Minister commended the university management for their commitment to institutional growth and reiterated the federal government’s resolve to continue supporting educational institutions as vital engines for regional and national development.

Engr. Momoh emphasized that aligning infrastructure development with educational progress is central to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, assuring continued collaboration with institutions like FUPRE to deliver meaningful impact across Nigeria’s regions.
