Ganduje Blames Kwankwaso For 2027 Presidential Election Poster Controversy

In a statement released on Sunday by his spokesman, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje denounced the poster as a fabrication orchestrated by the Kwankwassiyya movement associated with former Kano governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. Ganduje labeled it as malicious fake news intended to create discord between him and President Bola Tinubu.

The statement clarified, “The circulating poster claiming that APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje is running for the presidency in 2027 with Governor Hope Uzodimma is entirely false and a deliberate misinformation effort.”

It continued, “The APC asserts that this is the work of mischief-makers, likely linked to elements within the Kwankwassiyya movement, aimed at sowing discord between Dr. Ganduje and President Tinubu. Dr. Ganduje remains steadfastly loyal to President Tinubu and is dedicated to supporting his vision for Nigeria’s future.
