“During that period, I juggled multiple jobs, from hawking sachet water during the day to engaging in vulcanizing and shoe-making,” Thompson recalled. “But as night fell, I would transition to my makeshift shop near a brothel, catering to the needs of sex workers by supplying alcohol, weed, and cigarettes.”
