Gov Adeleke: Fighting Within Government House Is Preferable To External Battles For PDP Ahead Of 2027Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called on members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to unite and work toward regaining electoral success. Speaking at the commissioning of the South West PDP Secretariat in Ibadan on Saturday, he emphasized the importance of setting aside grievances for the greater good of the party.

Governor Adeleke urged party members to come together in honor of the late zonal Vice Chairman, Soji Adagunodo, after whom the building is named. He stated, “Today’s event is a clarion call for unity and deeper brotherhood among PDP members, both at home and abroad. We must move past our divisions and unite for the benefit of our party.”

He remarked, “It is better for us to resolve our differences within Government House than to air them outside. We need to focus on establishing strong administrative structures to prepare for elections, retain our current states, and expand our influence across the six zones of the country.”

The Governor highlighted the significance of opening a major administrative hub for the party in the South West at this pivotal moment in national politics. He also paid tribute to the late Adagunodo, expressing a wish that he could witness the honor being bestowed upon him. “I am in a sober mood, as our brother is not here to see this tribute. May God grant him eternal rest,” he concluded.
