ā€œWe are not suggesting that people take up arms,ā€ Radda clarified. ā€œThe security operatives we have are inadequate to protect all citizens. We urge communities to allow us to train their youth, equipping them to defend themselves until security forces can intervene. This initiative has shown positive results, as many areas are now less accessible to bandits due to local efforts.ā€

He lamented the situation where a small group of armed bandits can terrorize larger communities, stating, ā€œIt is unfortunate that three or four armed individuals can cause chaos in a community of 500 or 1,000 people.ā€
